Hey everyone! I’m back again with another Yu-Gi-Oh review. Today I’ll be reviewing the Master of Pendulum Structure Deck! As always I want to thank Konami for providing me with the Master of Pendulum Structure Deck for review purposes.
First off, let’s start with some details on the Master of Pendulum Structure Deck. The Master of Pendulum Structure Deck contains 43 total cards 38 of those cards are Commons 2 are Ultra Rare Cards and finally it includes 3 Super Rare Cards to round out the Deck. You’ll also find 1 Dueling Guide, 1 Rule Book and a Deluxe Game Mat. The retail price for this Structure Deck is $9.99, which is a steal considering the fact that it includes 5 beautiful foil cards.
The Master of Pendulum Structure Deck is a must own for any duelists out there that favor Spellcaster type monsters since the Master of Pendulum Structure Deck has a big focus on that monster type. For the past week I’ve been using the Master of Pendulum Structure Deck as my go to Deck whenever I decide to play a quick game of Yu-Gi-Oh.
My overall impression of the Master of Pendulum Structure deck is very positive. I’ve played around 12 total duels using this Structure deck and I just haven’t been able to locate any major shortcomings with this deck, it just performs well against a variety of different deck types and as a Structure deck it really did impress me.
A couple of cards that I feel are highlights of this Structure Deck are as follows Performapal Skullcrobat Joker, Dragonpit Magician, Dragonpulse Magician, Oafdragon Magician and Wisdom-Eye Magician. Konami did an amazing job at constructing the Master of Pendulum Structure Deck, all of these cards just work so well together and it’s easy to pick and choose what cards you want to swap in and out to improve the deck. Also, if you have recently picked up a few Clash of Rebellions Booster packs, you will find that the cards from that Booster Set work well with the Master of Pendulum Structure Deck. I’ll include a deck profile below.
2x DragonPulse Magician
2x DragonPit Magician
2x NobleDragon Magician
3x Wisdom-Eye Magician
3x Skullcrobat Joker
2x Stargazer Magician
2x Timegazer Magician
3x OafDragon Magician
1x Performapal Trump Witch
3x Odd-Eyes Pedulum Dragon
2x Sky Iris
3x Pedulum Call
2x Pedulum Shift
3x Forbidden Dress
3x Mystical Space Typhoon
1x Torrential Tribute
This may be the best Structure Deck that Konami has released so far, it offers some really great Spellcaster monsters and gives the user access to some really great Pendulum summons. I personally think players of any skill level can use and enjoy the Master of Pendulum Structure Deck, though as with any Structure Deck it will greatly benefit from the user carefully choosing which cards to replace and add to the Deck and with the Clash of Rebellions and Dimension of Chaos Booster Sets available, it makes it that much easier for duelists to quickly locate some great cards and add them to the Master of Pendulum Structure Deck.
The Master of Pendulum Structure Deck is simply the best value for the money when it comes to Structure Decks and at a price of $9.99 it’s a must buy! I’m happy to see that Konami is constantly improving their Structure Decks with every new release and with every release they keep giving duelists more value for their money. I would also like to say that the artwork on these cards is simply stunning! I know that I’ve complimented Konami on their card design’s several times in my Yu-Gi-Oh reviews, but the artwork really is beautiful and as a card collector I can really appreciate that.
I give the Master of pendulum Structure Deck a score of 9.5/10
